OUR STORY

From family values to community impact

Vidhai Foundation was established in 2026 as a private charitable trust by Krish and Poornima, based in Saint Louis, Missouri. It was created as a vehicle for focused, personal giving — a way to turn family resources into meaningful support for people and causes that need it.

"Vidhai" means seed. We believe the right support, offered at the right moment, can help a person, a family, or a community grow far beyond where it started.

The foundation is newly established and intentionally starting small: we are building our giving thoughtfully, one relationship and one commitment at a time, rather than rushing to scale.

Managing Trustee

Krish Gopalakrishnan

Krish serves as founding Managing Trustee of Vidhai Foundation. He brings a background spanning technology leadership, private equity investment experiences along with leading several community development efforts. He is a life member of the Missouri Tamil Sangam and the Tamil Nadu Foundation and currently also serves as a board member of AMTECC.org.

Poornima Parthasarathy

Poornima serves as Trustee of Vidhai Foundation. An entrepreneur, real estate investor, and management leader driving growth and strategy, she is also a mentor with the St. Louis International Women's Group, a life member of the Missouri Tamil Sangam, and Treasurer of the Tamil Nadu Foundation, St. Louis Chapter.

Laya Krishnakumar

Laya serves as Trustee of Vidhai Foundation. She is a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington majoring in Economics and Quantitative Methods with a minor in Marketing, bringing a strong background in marketing strategy and consumer insight from her work with the American Marketing Association and collegiate case competitions.
